We were puzzled – and a bit worried – to see loads of scaffolding up around Langtrys this week. The pub has long been a NottsNight favourite, and is one of the few remaining examples of a true, traditional, non nonsense boozer in the heart of the city centre.

Thankfully, it’s not bad news.

It’s not entirely clear what the “exciting new look” means – because most of the new website is under construction. Rest assured, NottsNight will be taking a good look and updating its blog listing accordingly.

Let’s hope they’ve refitted the toilets.
