Address : 13 Nottingham Road, Eastwood, NG16 3AP

A traditional, independently owned real ale house in what has become the heart of Micropub country in Eastwood and the surrounding area, the Dog and Parrot is run by David and Kathryn Boam.
You’ll find up to seven real ales on tap, many of them sourced locally. There are also four still ciders and a selection of continental brews including Bitburger, Pravha & Aspells.
The dog-friendly pub has become a real favourite within the local community and is also easily accessible by public transport for those traveling from further afield.
Music? Plenty of live music through the year featuring local artists. Also free Summer and Winter all-dayers and the famous (free) Eastwood DH Lawrence Music Festival in September.
Food? No hot food options but plenty of snacks
People? A complete mix of customers, young & old. There are no TVs or fruit machines, so you get to chat and have a laugh
Opinion? A true community pub, where you are treated as friends and family rather than customers. Visit once and you will definitely be back!
