About Trent Bridge & Bridgford

Sport dominates the area around Trent Bridge, with its world famous cricket ground, and the homes of Nottingham Forest and Notts County straddling either side of the river.

South of the Bridge is a well-to-do residential area. West Bridgford town centre teems with coffee bars and bistros; the traditional pun for this district was “Bread and Lard Island”, since that’s all the residents could afford to eat once they’d spent their cash gentrifying their properties

It’s also home to a great collection of diverse pubs, ranging from bars featuring their own in house brews to those offering great food and fine views of the Victoria Embankment.
