During the height of Nottingham’s industrial post-war output, this area was regarded as the workers’ Friday night playground. Players had its main cigarette production line just down the road, and it was the home of Raleigh bicycles. As such, dozens of pubs thrived.
And after a steady transformation, Canning Circus has once again become a go to destination for great beer and a wide variety of bars. Two micropubs, traditional wood fires, caves and arguably the best beer garden can all be found within a ten minute walk.
